The Blog

This blog is about me rediscovering craft. Here I will post my projects, my thoughts and ideas with the hope of inspiring other people to use craft as an outlet for creativity.

I was one of those curious kids who tried to learn all sorts of things. In my life, I have tried sewing, crocheting, knitting, book binding, drawing, painting, jewelry making, pottery, serigraphy, origami, papier-mâché, and other things that I can't even remember. Though I only know the basics of all of these skills, I like to think that my diverse interests are what keep me open minded and creative. Also, I am confident that I can learn to make anything I put my heart and mind onto. And that's what this blog is all about!

The Blogger

I am originally from a beautiful coastal city in Brazil, where the weather is always warm and the people are (almost) always friendly. In 2011 I moved to New York City, where I live with my husband in a small but charming apartment. Professionally I am a lawyer in the field of international relations and human right, although I have recently decided to move into a more creative career in project and events management. My favorite things in the world are dancing until I can't control my legs, travelling to new places, going home to visit my family and friends, picnicking in the park, speaking different languages, and all in all just learning new things.
